LOUISVILLE, KY(SMI SPORTS,09.05.20)-The 146th Kentucky Derby took place Today Saturday September 05, with Kentucky's colt " Authentic" upsetting favorite and 2020 New York's Belmont Stakes winner " Tiz The Law" in the final stretch at Churchill Downs.

 

The Kentucky is traditionally held on the first Saturday in May, but the 2020 race was posponed to Saturday, September 5, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the US.Authentic was ridden by Jockey John Velazquez who won his third Kentucky Derby race.
